The 4th generation powerizer Pro will be out in April. It will have a calf cuff Like the Poweriser Brand and it will have improved Carbon fibre spring. It will also have improved foot rubbers as well. The 4th will come with snowboard like bindings. The foot plate will be fixed and will not pivot. Coming early summer 2007 powerizer will be coming out with the 3rd Generation powerizer Pro. It will feature 30% less weight overall, 30% stronger springs made out of Carbon Fibre with a 1 year guarantee on the spring and the rest of the parts. The rubber feet will be made of racing car tire material for a longer wear time. The frame will be all aluminum with no plastic parts, just all beautiful shiny metal parts. They look like something out of the movie “terminator”, they blew me away when I saw them. The pivoting foot plate will lock in a 90o angle or it can be released to pivot, for the Bocker that likes that. They will also have a calf cuff as well, instead of the Knee brace. This model is supposed to be the best thing to come out in the Bocking world, we shall have to see. The price will be around the same as the current Powerizer Pro.
Poweriser has come out with their own version at over $100.00 more in price. The Poweriser will not have Carbon Fibre or the cool look of pure metal, the Calf cuff on the Powerizer is supposed to be better quality than the Poweriser as well. The only reason Poweriser is more money than Powerizer is Poweriser is made in Korea where labor costs are more, Not because it is better quality. In July of 2006 powerizer made there aluminum aprox 25% stronger than the Poweriser frame. The Carbon Fibre spring has been one year in development, powerizer is here to stay and doing their best to be the bomb in the Bocking world..

At the end of last year, Michael from XtremeImportz.com (chronicbarbarian on this forum) offered to send me a pair of Powerizer Pros for free. Of course I accepted this offer, and in this post I will describe my thoughts on them.

After trying both the Powerizer Pro and the standard Poweriser 7090s I had previously, we both agreed that the Powerizer Pro is a lot more smooth, more comfortable and easier to get bounce from. The tilting of the footpad makes running a lot less tiring, and makes you go a lot faster once you realise how to get the most from it.
I’m looking forward to getting more and more accustomed to this new model, which has proven to be a lot easier, and a lot more fun to use than my previous Poweriser 7090s.
